Some retreats focus on the content of work, on concrete goals, plans and strategies. That can be valuable, but it is not the approach we take.

Our retreats are designed to look at and experience the deeper layers of the team, to focus on people and their relationships. If those are well, the team will do well. If they don’t function, the team will underperform.

That is why in this retreat we look at the past, present and future of the team. How has the team developed, where are the current strengths and pitfalls and what opportunities present themselves?

Sometimes there are unspoken difficulties or personal events that affect the team. We make room for that. Perhaps there are positive things that, if seen and celebrated more fully, would encourage bonding and release energy.

We also look at the team as a system, which has its own dynamics and rules. At this level there may be other blockages or unseen possibilities.

Because of this well thought-out design, the Team Retreat enables your team to reflect and connect in a safe way. To listen and be heard. And to get to the core of the matter, so that the next level can be reached.

The Team Retreat lasts two days and runs from Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon. The location will be chosen in consultation with your team, but we have good experiences with quiet and comfortable places in the west and east of the Netherlands. If you prefer, we can start the retreat on Friday evening, for example with a dinner and evening activity.
