We get acquainted and chart a course through the weekend. We listen to an inspiring story and take our attention inside. We prepare, become quiet.

Picture of the past
We make space for something new by looking at the recent past. What influenced your personal life? Which successes and challenges did you encounter at work? We put things in perspective and identify underlying patterns. In between, we have a break.

A delicious and healthy meal helps us to re-energise.
12:45 – 14:00
Exchange in nature
We head into the forest for renewed energy, inspiration and a meaningful conversation. We exchange experiences around a particular theme and among the trees we find ways to let go, bury the past and put things in perspective.

Being and not being
With the past more organised, it’s time for the present. Who are you, regardless of your roles at work and home? What else are you? What about you could receive some more nourishment? Together we explore the many fascinating facets of our identity. Along the way, we take a break.
16:00 – 17:00
The day has brought us many things and our bodies and hearts are full. Time to begin to integrate. What do we need to preserve what is good, stimulate something new, soften that which is hard?

Attention in movement and quiet
We continue our expedition with meditation and martial arts. We practice our attention in movement and in silence, both within ourselves and with others.

We in the world
Yesterday we considered the past and our sense of self. Now we look at our place in the world. What about the world burdens us, zaps our energy? And what about the world do we value, what do we contribute to it and which parts of us can flourish in the world?

Walk of silence
After a busy morning, we take a walk in nature. In silence, we ponder a number of questions.

Time to nurture our bodies with some good food.

Map of the future
Now we focus on the future. On the opportunities that are emerging, the different paths we may follow and the people and events that we could meet along the way. We map them all out, so we can begin to chart the best possible course.

We are nearing the end of our retreat. There is one, final activity with which we look at what the future holds in store and then we wrap up. We summarise, set an intention for the future and say goodbye.
